Accommodation
Accommodation Within the school grounds, Mansa-Colley has built a house with the purpose of housing volunteers.
The school grounds are secured by a night watch, to ensure the safety of our school and any volunteers that are staying with us.
The cost per night is approcimately 1,000 Gambian Dalesi (£15,- / €20,-) This includes breakfast.
If you wish to have lunch and dinner at the school, this can be arranged for an extra 700 Gambian Dalasi (£10,- / €12,-) per day.
Please be aware that prices are subject to change due to exchange rates and inflation. We recommend that you contact us before you plan your trip for the most accurate pricing.
If you wish to seek alternative accommodation, you can do so within the tourist area or within a local village or town such as Brikama. We do recommend, for the true Gambian experience, to stay at the school or find accommodation nearby. Travelling to the school can be arranged for a fee, and is determined on a ad-hoc basis.
