Congratulations to our students for their extraordinary performance in the recently concluded grade 9 exams with a record 100 percent passing performance. 43 of our students scored 1 (Distinction) in General Science, 45 in S.E.S and 32 in Mathematics. Three of our students scored distinction (1) in all the subjects that they registered for except English Language. 14 students had Aggregate Eight (8) with all of them having either seven (7) or eight (8) distinctions out of the nine (9) subject that they sat for.
Speaking to the proprietor of the school, Mr. Muctarr Bojang, he expressed his delight at the performance of the students and commended them for their hard work. He also paid homage to all the teachers and members of staff who had contributed to the success registered. He urged the students in grade eight (now grade nine) to emulate the results that their predecessors have registered and challenged them to go one more step ahead and do better. He also tasked the students to work even harder so that they may come out with flying colours when they sit to their WASSCE in grade twelve (12) in 2024.
Speaking on behalf of the students, Kutub Hydara, the Head Boy of the school, expressed his thanks to his teachers for all the effort that they had invested in the students. He said that their results is a proof of how hardworking the teachers of MCBUBS are. He attributed their success to the hard work of the teachers and the students. He promised the proprietor that they will always try their best to make Mansa-Colley School the best in the country. Kutub went on to urge his classmates to work even harder so that they can either replicate the results that have registered or do better in their WASSCE.
